A slew of jobseekers are hoping to attract
the luck of the Irish, with one of Ireland’s
most prominent recruiters reporting a
surge in job inquiries post-Brexit.
Morgan McKinley has received a spike in
applications from UK jobseekers in the
wake of the Leave vote, with Chief
Financial Officer reporting that the
financial services sector in particular had
seen a spike in activities in June from UK
job seekers – Breaking News reports.
“We’ve seen general inquiries in the
financial services and banking sector
where there has been a concern from the
Irish who are living there and who might
be considering a move. It reflects the
general uncertainty,” she said.
Morgan McKinley is also expecting a
surge in recruitment demands in coming
months, as international firms relocate to
Ireland in order to have a “landing point”
within the EU.
