Paul Pogba is waiting for permission
from Juventus to fly from Los Angeles to
England, where he will complete a
medical and officially become a
Manchester United player, according to
reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The saga surrounding the Frenchman’s
move to Old Trafford has dragged on over
the course of the past few weeks, but it
appears that the end is now in sight with
a deal worth €110m (around £92m)
having been agreed for him, while his
agent, Mino Raiola, is set to pocket a
substantial payment on top of that.
Further to this, personal terms have been
settled with Pogba himself, who is due to
cut his holiday in Los Angeles short to fly
to England.
La Gazzetta dello Sport report that the
deal is effectively done after talks between
Raiola and Juventus yesterday, and that
the Turin giants are due to give him the
green light for him to head to Manchester.
Pogba will become the most expensive
player in the history of the game, while
the Old Lady will make a massive profit
on the £800,000 they paid Man United for
the midfielder just four years ago.
