Indian fans, who normally get to watch the La Liga
matches late at night, will now be able to watch
these games at prime time in late evening

New Delhi: La Liga President Javier Tebas
announced on Thursday that the kick-off timings
of the Spanish League matches will be changed
and there would be early starts to suit the ever
increasing Indian football fans.
Inaugurating La Liga’s New Delhi office, their
sixth base of operations overseas, in the presence
of LaLiga ambassador Fernando Morientes,
Spanish Davis Cup team led by Rafael Nadal and
AIFF officials, Tebas said the kick-off timings will
be changed to 4:30pm local time in Spain (8pm
IST).
Indian fans, who normally get to watch the La Liga
matches late at night, will now be able to watch
these games at prime time in late evening. Tebas
was excited about the opening of this new office
and the impact it will have for La Liga.
